This was a wonderful read! I loved the time travel element that sent modern day people back to 1850. Hilarity ensues.
The couple in question already have a past to work through and now they have to do it in the past amidst all the decorum restrictions and possibility of falling in love with someone from 1850.
The premise is clever, the writing fun, and the romance hits all the right notes.
I have the feeling this is the start of a series as five people traveled back to the past and the story only focused on two of them. In fact, at times, I wondered why the other three were mentioned at all as they hardly appeared in the story.
The characters are well developed, both main and secondary. Lots of fun twists. And the setting is sublime.
Sure wish Aunt Nellie's tonics/elixers were real. They would come in handy. Ah,well.
Love the cover. Part clock, part sunset, all romance.
Another great read by Ms. Weaver.
