Don't be misled to think this is a romance, like so many other of Mr. Sparks' books. That was the mistake I made, though it does have a romantic thread.
Overall I enjoyed the story of Russ and the slice of life presented of his family.
However, I wasn't a fan of the format. Each chapter starts with a flashback, not all of which I needed to enrich the present.
I wasn't a fan of Vivian, Russ' wife. Mostly I wanted to push her off a cliff.
London was adorable.
As usual a character was killed off.
My biggest issue was the length. IMO this book could've been half the length and would've been just as strong, perhaps even stronger.
If you like Nicholas Sparks you'll enjoy this book.
